Calvin Harris, the world’s highest-paid DJ, is the new owner of a 6,000 square-foot Hollywood Hills home that sold last month for $5 million.
A corporate entity linked to Harris purchased the home from another DJ, former Swedish House Mafia member Steve Angello, according to the Los Angeles Times. The house spans two floors and includes four bedrooms, five bathrooms, and a two-story music room and recording studio. Angello put it on the market in October for $5.5 million, according to Realtor.com
The home, built in the 1940s, features an eclectic mix of styles and includes vaulted ceilings, massive windows overlooking the city, a pool and patio space.
The Scottish DJ pulled in an unrivaled $48.5 million last year, according to Forbes, and he has been active in the LA real estate scene since his rise to the top of the dance music scene. He picked up a Beverly Hills mansion in 2013 for $7 million before listing it in 2016 for $5.7 million. And in 2014, he purchased another Beverly Hills manse for $15 million. [LAT] — Dennis Lynch
