Actor James Woods has put his mid-century modern home in the Hollywood Hills on the market for $2.65 million.
The 70-year-old purchased the 2,167-square-foot, three-bedroom home at 7256 Sunnydip Trail in 2014 for $2.2 million, according to Variety.
Celebrated architects Conrad Buff and Donald Hensman designed and built the home in 1959, and their firm Buff, Hensman, and Smith completed an addition in 2002, according to the listing. Woods at one point leased the home to fellow actor Chris Noth.
Like with many mid-century moderns, the house features some distinctly Eastern design traits. The interior is largely open, with an indoor courtyard at its center, and its dark, exposed beams contrast with light walls. The kitchen includes modern appliances and opens to the living room, which boasts a fireplace and floor-to-ceiling glass walls with a northwest facing view of Universal City. It also features a pool and balconies, including one off the master bedroom.
Rumors swirled of Woods’s retirement in October, when a real estate agent listing his Rhode Island home said the actor was leaving the business and would “simplify his life,” according to Deadline.
