WATCH: The women behind TRD’s January cover story sound off on RE’s gender divide

From TRD NYC: The red carpet at Sunday’s 75th annual Golden Globes resembled more of a funeral procession than a celebration of entertainment’s elite. Actors both male and female traded in colorful garb for black dress in a show of solidarity against sexual harassment and assault in the industry — though the problem exists and persists outside of Hollywood.

The Harvey Weinstein scandal in particular set off a chain reaction of allegations and firsthand accounts of abuse, specifically in the workplace. For The Real Deal‘s January issue, we took a close look at dramatic gender divide in real estate, as well as the frat-boy culture that’s dominated the industry, especially the commercial sector.

To get a sense of where the industry is at and how far it still needs to go, TRD spoke to some of real estate’s top female executives. Check out their stories below.
