Coldwell Banker broker Sandro Dazzan is packing his things and taking his multimillion-dollar developer with him.
The Malibu native is leaving a seven-year-long partnership at the firm to lead the Agency’s Malibu office at 2261 Pacific Coast Highway. It will officially open next month, when Dazzan will begin building out a 10-person team.
He will be listing the Unvarnished portfolio, developed and designed by Scott Gillen, with the Agency’s founding partner, Paul Lester. Dazzan was the exclusive listing agent for Gillen at Coldwell Banker.
Gillen is developing an $85 million, 15,200-square-foot mansion in Malibu, dubbed “New Castle.” He’s also building five estates at 24108 Pacific Coast Highway, a 24-acre plot of land for which he paid a record-breaking $50 million for last year.
“I like their brand and everything they do is new school — from the way the office is run to the marketing,” Dazzan said. “Scott [Gillen] wanted to come to the Agency for the same reasons that were attractive to me.”
At Coldwell Banker, he was named a Forbes “30 under 30” and worked alongside his mother, Irene Dazzan Palmer. The two are listing the $43.5 million George I. Rosenthal estate at 29000 Newton Canyon Road in Malibu, as well as a $27.5 million home at 24818 Pacific Coast Highway. They will continue to share the listings while Palmer remains at Coldwell Banker.
