That’s a wrap: SSV Properties nabs post-production firm at Burbank creative office

SSV Properties has inked a lease at one of its Burbank office properties with EIKON Group, a post-production company that worked on films like “Blade Runner 2049” and “Spider-Man: Homecoming.”

EIKON Group agreed to the 20,000-square-foot lease with an initial 10-year term worth $8.1 million at 2777 N. Ontario Street, according to Colliers, which represented both the production team and El Segundo-based SSV in the deal.

The space had been vacant for several years at the 132,000-square-foot building, which was formerly anchored by Lockheed-Martin.

SSV purchased acquired the building in 2007 and undertook extensive renovations in 2015 that wrapped up in Fall 2016. The EIKON Group lease is so far the largest since the renovation’s completion.

The property now includes new concrete floors, glass paneled-offices and skylights, according to Colliers’ Nico Vilgiate. The exterior was redesigned. EIKON and SSV will remove part of a mezzanine there to create a theater space.
