Fuller Theological Seminary is putting its 13-acre Pasadena campus on the market as it prepares to relocate to Pomona.
Fuller is leaving its home on Oakland Avenue after 70 years. The campus includes a newly-constructed library, 248 apartments, an auditorium, office space, educational facilities and a centralized courtyard, according to a release from listing brokerage CBRE.
The sprawling campus is being offered as a portfolio deal to a single buyer, or as smaller sales to different individuals, the Los Angeles Times reported.
It will hit the market within 30 days and is being listed without a price.
Laurie Lustig-Bower, Chalvis Evans, Kyle Barratt and Kamran Paydar of CBRE have the listing.
Any prospective buyer will be aware that several of the campus’ iconic stately homes are located within the Ford Place Historic District and are protected, limiting redevelopment potential.
The institution will be relocating to a campus in Pomona in 2021. It will lease back its existing space if the property sells before then.
Fuller has over 3,000 students pursuing degrees across its several regional campuses on the West Coast. The Pasadena site houses 1,200 of them.
