Music lovers can now flock to the Valley for the chance to live — and record — where superstars Prince, Michael Jackson and Barry White worked on their music.
Craig Huxley, a child-actor-turned-Emmy and Grammy award-winning producer, has put his 2,200-square-foot home on Valley Vista Boulevard in Sherman Oaks on the market for $1.95 million, the Los Angeles Times reported.
The single-story home, built in 1950, features three bedrooms and three bathrooms, in addition to a swimming pool and sweeping views of the city.
The real money-maker, however, lies in the home’s two studios.
As founder of the multi-media company Enterprise Interactive, which mixed hits for Paul McCartney and Dr. Dre, Huxley spent much of his time recording on the property.
Jackson, Prince, Donna Summer and Barry White are among some of those said to have frequented the humble abode. Huxley also co-composed music there for the soap opera “Knots Landing” and television series “China Beach,” according to marketing materials.
Sally Forster Jones and Shauna Walters of Compass share the listing with Philip Boroda of Coldwell Banker.
Before he was an award-winning producer, Huxley acted in “Star Trek” and “The Beverly Hillbillies.” [LAT] — Natalie Hoberman
