A 14-acre estate whose former owners include pop icon Cher and comedian-actor Eddie Murphy hit the market for $68 million, nearly $17 million less than its original asking price in 2016. Vicky Walters, widow of prominent real estate developer Raul Walters, is selling the sprawling compound in the Beverly Hills Post Office. The couple had expanded the 20,000-square-foot main home to include a guest house, horse stable and tennis court. Cher built the original home on a four-acre parcel, and later sold it to Murphy.

Over in Malibu, a mansion once rented by power couple Beyoncé and Jay-Z, sold for $50 million to Behdad Eghbali, a founding partner at Santa Monica-based investment firm Clearlake Capital. The seller was Richard Weintraub, president and CEO of Weintraub Real Estate Group. Dubbed La Villa Contenta, the home includes 14 bedrooms, 10 bathrooms, a wine cellar, screening room, ballroom and guesthouse. Outside, an infinity swimming pool and rose garden complete the home. Beyoncé and Jay-Z rented the home for $400,000 a month last year following the birth of their twins, Rumi and Sir.

Thomas Barrack, a private equity mogul and pal of President Donald Trump, spent $13 million for a contemporary spec home in Brentwood that he snapped up a month after it was listed. Spanning 7,800 square feet, the home features seven bedrooms and 11 bathrooms. He purchased the home back in April, but it went unreported until now. The mansion’s open floor plan features glass walls on the rear of the home that overlook a swimming pool, patio and lawn. Barrack also owns a 23,000-square-foot mansion in Santa Monica, which he paid $21 million for back in 2014.

In the Hidden Hills neighborhood, Denise Richards has finally parted ways with her eight-bedroom home. The actress and model sold the pad for $4.75 million, roughly 40 percent lower than the original asking price of $7.9 million. The actress paid $4.4 million for the 8,300-square-foot home in 2007. In a Ranch-style design, the home features six bedrooms, eight bathrooms, a lagoon pool with a waterfall and grotto, and custom-built dog kennel.
