App designer ISBX has expanded its lease at the Swig Company’s Sepulveda Center on the Westside near Culver City.
ISBX will pay about $8 million to lease 15,000 square feet, or an entire floor at the 12-story tower at 3415 S. Sepulveda Boulevard, according to Grant Newman of Madison Partners, who represented ISBX in the deal. That’s about three times as much space as company is currently leasing there.
ISBX specializes in branding, app and website design, and custom software design for outside brands. Clients include Nike’s Jordan brand, L’Oreal, and Apple. ISBX helped design and implement software used by Apple’s Beats Pill+ Bluetooth speaker.
San Francisco-based Swig Company purchased Sepulveda Center in 2016 for $68.2 million, or around $380 per square foot. At the time, the building was 85 percent leased. The building is located between Mar Vista and Palms, directly next to Interstate 405. It’s close to tech-heavy Culver City and Santa Monica.
