Jeremy Piven is culling his portfolio with sales in LA and NYC

One of the stars of HBO’s hit show “Entourage” is looking to slim down some of his extra baggage.

Jeremy Piven sold his home on Malibu Road for $6.6 million late last month, Variety reported. He’s now also looking to sell his duplex penthouse in New York City for $7.75 million.

In Malibu, the actor unloaded a 4,400-square-foot pad with four bedrooms and four bathrooms. It also features 50 feet of beachfront.

The three-story home was originally listed at $10.5 million, and later reduced to $7.8 million in December 2018. The deal closed Jan. 25.

Piven paid $3.5 million for the residence in 2004.

On the other side of the country, the actor is looking to shed a 3,000-square-foot unit in Tribeca. The two-bedroom unit includes 1,000 square feet of private outdoor space, as well as two dishwashers, floor-to-ceiling windows and garden.

He paid baseball star Mike Piazza $4.7 million for the unit in 2011, records show.

The homes, bought in the first and last season of “Entourage,” are a big departure from his most recent purchase in Laurel Canyon. In 2015, the actor paid $2.3 million for a 2,850-square-foot home on Achilles Drive, four years after the show’s run ended.

Piven, best known for his role as “Ari Gold” in “Entourage,” also starred in “Wisdom of the Crowd.” The actor was hit with allegations of sexual harassment in October 2017, a month before CBS decided to drop the show after one season. [Variety] — Natalie Hoberman
