Philanthropist Alexandra Dwek has sold her Georgian-style mansion in Bel Air for $40 million.
The Bellagio Road property which sits on 1.4 acres, is home to a 7,000-square-foot house with six bedrooms and seven bathrooms, according to Los Angeles County Assessor documents. Property records say it was built in 1942 and significantly renovated in 1980.
The property last sold in 2011 for $16.6 million.
The buyer is Delaware-based COPA II LLC. The entity was known as Gold Cup Drive LLC until it changed its name in January. It is linked to RGT Wealth Advisors, a Dallas, Texas-based wealth manager.
Dwek is the founder of Friends With Causes, a network of philanthropists that hosts dinners and other events to organize donations to various causes.
She is the mother of model Cairo Dwek, who last year was linked romantically to former One Direction member Liam Payne. Tabloids have reported that Cairo’s father is Joe Dwek, a British-born former world backgammon champion who now lives in L.A.
Listing photos show well-manicured lawns in the front and rear of the home and a large circular driveway. There is a pool, lighted tennis court, and a two-bedroom guest house and gym in the backyard. The listing touts the property’s “total privacy and seclusion.”
