Leaving the Golden State? Kevin Durant just listed his Malibu home

Speculation continues over where Golden State Warriors’ superstar Kevin Durant will play next season, but one thing is for sure, he doesn’t want to live in Malibu.

Durant listed his Malibu home for $13.5 million, the Los Angeles Times reported. Durant, who can opt out of his contract at the end of this season, has won two championships already with the Warriors, who appear headed for a third title.

He bought the house over Broad Beach last year for $12 million, after having signed with the Warriors in 2016. It includes four bedrooms, six bathrooms and more than 5,100 square feet of space. It features a media room, movie theater, elevator and terrace balconies on three levels.

The beachfront home on Victoria Point Road was built in 1976 and extensively remodeled five years ago.

“Million Dollar Listing Los Angeles” personalities James Harris, David Parnes and Sandro Dazzan of the Agency have the listing.

Malibu remains a magnet for celebrities residents. In February, Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez bought a beach house there for $6.6 million.

In 2015, Durant sold his Miami penthouse for $3.15 million, after having purchased it in 2011 for $1.83 million. [LAT] — Gregory Cornfield
