Michael Gross has a new pad in Brentwood, built by none other than rockstar Lindsey Buckingham.

The vice chairman at WeWork spent $28 million to acquire the home of the former Fleetwood Mac guitarist, Variety reported. It hit the market seeking $29.5 million just six weeks prior.

Sitting on a 1.2-acre lot, the 10,000-square-foot residence boasts eight bedrooms, 11 bathrooms, a recording studio, a two-story tower and a billiards room. It also includes a tennis court, gym, swimming pool and guesthouse.

Buckingham and his wife, Kristen, paid $6.6 million to acquire the land in 2004, records show. The couple then custom-built the estate, which was completed three years later.

Jeff Hyland of Hilton & Hyland and Jade Mills of Coldwell Banker Global Luxury had the listing. Danny Brown of Compass represented the buyer.

Gross’ $28 million purchase comes as his co-working behemoth eyes an IPO. WeWork, which remains unprofitable, is currently seeking to sell some of its debt, potentially raising as much as $10 billion ahead of its public offering.

Gross and his wife, producer and director Amy Miller Gross, still own a triplex in Manhattan’s Tribeca neighborhood. Adam Neumann, co-founder of WeWork, also lives in the city. He paid $35 million to acquire a home in Gramercy Place roughly two years ago, when his company was valued at $20 billion. [Variety] — Natalie Hoberman
