Douglas Elliman has recruited a team of agents that specializes in the Los Feliz neighborhood. The Carter/Orland team, led by Dorothy Carter and Michael Orland, jumped from Keller Williams. Some of their big-name clients include Madonna, Adam Levine and professional athletes. The team, in conjunction with Ernie Carswell, is co-listing Michael Feinstein’s estate on Glendower Avenue for nearly $15 million.

In Beverly Hills, The Agency has hired Arvin Haddad. Haddad, a veteran broker, was formerly senior estate director at Aaron Kirman Partners team at Compass. The move comes after Compass poached several top agents from The Agency, namely Cindy Ambuehl and David Kelmenson, earlier this year. Haddad’s listings, which span from Beverly Hills to Studio City, include homes in the $2 – $5 million range. Last month, he represented the buyer behind actor Breckin Meyer’s $1.7 million sale in the Hollywood Hills.

Cristian David was promoted to senior vice president and brokerage manager at Sotheby’s International Realty. In his new role, he’ll oversee the Pacific Palisades, Santa Monica/Venice, Malibu and Topanga brokerages. David had served as vice president. He has been with the firm since 2016, when moved over from Keller Williams. As brokerage manager, David will oversee all the day-to-day operations and help recruit.

In the commercial real estate sphere, Cushman & Wakefield poached Brittany Winn from Newmark Knight Frank. Winn is joining as a director in Mike Condon Jr.’s team, which is based in Downtown Los Angeles and specializes in capital markets. In the past, Winn was involved with notable deals with Live Nation, Marcum LLP and public relations firm PMK BNC. She most recently served as associate director at Newmark, where she specialized in office tenant representation.

Bridge Development Partners hired Heather Crossner as senior vice president of development. Crossner, who will be based in the firm’s El Segundo office, formerly worked as a lawyer in Latham & Watkins’ environmental, land and resource department for 13 years. In her new role, she will help guide stakeholders through the complex project approval process. Bridge Development is a privately held development firm that specializes in industrial projects.
