Shaun White is freeriding out of Malibu

Shaun White is selling his Malibu properties.

Olympic gold medalist Shaun White has already sold one eight-figure Malibu property, and he is looking to unload another.

Variety reports that White has listed an oceanfront property in Malibu for $10.995 million, after he purchased the parcel for $10.75 million in 2016.

The potential sale of the property at such a thin profit margin (or possibly a loss) comes after White consummated an off-market sale of the neighboring property for $11.8 million to an unidentified buyer.

The property on Malibu’s Point Dume beach has been on the market for eight days, according to the Multiple Listings Service via Redin, with Compass’s Aaron Kirman and Chris Cortazzo the listing agents for the 2,164 square foot parcel located at 7163 Birdview Avenue.

The property, which is selling for $5,081 per square foot, has relatively modest amenities including a terrace with a built-in BBQ and an outdoor pool and spa.

White is a veritable extreme sports legend, winning three Olympic gold medals for snowboarding and the most gold medals in the X-games. As Variety notes, he is also prolific in the Los Angeles County real estate market. White bought a Laurel Canyon cottage for $1.6 million in 2017, and he paid $3.5 million for a home above Hollywood last year.
