Maroon 5 frontman Adam Levine and his wife, Behati Prinsloo, are the latest celebrities to buy in ultra-exclusive Montecito.

The couple paid $22.7 million for a 5-acre estate on Park Lane in the Santa Barbara County enclave, according to Dirt.

Called El Miraval Estate, the property had been on and off the market for several years and was most recently listed in November for $27.5 million.

The 12,000-square-foot Spanish Revival mansion was designed by architect George Washington Smith and completed in 1923. The main house has five bedrooms.

A Roman-style swimming pool flanked by ivy-wrapped columns and hedges sits on the other side of an expansive lawn outside the mansion. There are several other structures spread across the grounds, including a five-car garage with staff quarters, a two-bedroom guesthouse, and a one-bedroom cottage. In total, there are nine bedrooms and 11 bathrooms.

The sale came just a few days luxury real estate flippers Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi listed Levine’s former mansion in Beverly Hills for $54 million. Levine sold them that property in 2019 for $42.5 million.

DeGeneres and de Rossi also flipped a Montecito property in November for $33 million and in December, paid $49 million for another estate in the community from comedian Dennis Miller.

Montecito’s sprawling properties have long been popular with celebrities, and particularly in demand last year. Shortly after selling their mansion for $46 million, Rob Lowe and his wife stayed in the area but downsized. The couple bought another home there for $13 million. In October, Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom paid $14 million for a nine-acre estate.
