Ariana Grande has added a third property to her growing Los Angeles real estate portfolio.
The pop star just bought a teardown in the Bird Streets for $8.9 million in an off-market deal, according to Dirt.com. The property, on three quarters of an acre, is close to the Thrasher Avenue mansion she bought for $13.7 million last summer.
The most recent purchase was an off-market deal. The property is three contiguous parcels on a hillside and includes a 1,600-square-foot cottage-style home built in 1946, according to the report.
The seller bought the property in 2011 for about $2.3 million.
Grande’s home on Thrasher Avenue is a spec mansion spanning 10,000 square feet. It was one of several L.A. spec mansions owned by Woodbridge Group of Companies and sold off when prosecutors charged its former CEO Robert Shapiro with orchestrating a $1.3 billion Ponzi scheme.
Not long after Grande bought that home, she paid luxury real estate flipper and TV talk show host Ellen DeGeneres $6.8 million for a 5,500-square-foot property in Montecito.
In December, Grande was engaged to Compass agent Dalton Gomez. It’s not clear whether Gomez had any hand in her most recent transactions.
