Compass agents Tomer Fridman and Sally Forster Jones merge teams

Residential agents Tomer Fridman and Sally Forster Jones are joining forces to form a global luxury team in Beverly Hills.

The Fridman Group and The Sally Forster Jones Group, both of Compass, are merging to become Jones Fridman International, based in Beverly Hills, according to the Hollywood Reporter. The team will still be at Compass.

They have a combined $25 billion in sales.

“Our partnership story is really one of organic growth,” Fridman, co-founder of The Fridman Group, told the magazine. “Over the years, Sally and I found ourselves collaborating on various high-profile projects not just in Los Angeles but around the country and worldwide.”

The Fridman Group, based in Beverly Hills, was co-founded by Isidora Fridman, Tomer Fridman’s mother, also co-chair of Israel Sotheby’s International Realty. In December, the group expanded into Texas.

The Sally Forster Jones Group, also based in Beverly Hills, is among the top real estate brokers in Southern California. Forster Jones has closed more than 6,000 deals, wracking up more than $10 billion in sales, according to her website.

Its portfolio of sales include the Spelling Mansion, the Owlwood Estate, the Brentwood Oasis and Encino’s Odin House. The mother-and-son duo has represented the Kardashian family, Jennifer Lopez, Pamela Anderson and Candy Spelling.

Together, Fridman and Forster Jones are leading sales at the under-construction, 17-unit luxury Rosewood Residences in Beverly Hills. They’re also spearheading sales of luxe condos at Beverly West in Westwood.

They’re now each offering luxury listings in exclusive neighborhoods, including Beverly Park, Hidden Hills, Bel-Air, Beverly Hills and Calabasas. They aim to expand their reach even further by combining their two teams.

Within the next year, their Jones Fridman International aims to open a dozen real estate offices in luxury markets across the U.S. and abroad, according to its Instagram page.

“This partnership unites our great approach to serving clients locally, nationally and internationally,” Forster Jones told the Reporter. “By pooling our resources, marketing capabilities and extensive networks, we can expand our go-to-market reach and enhance our services across a wide range of luxury offerings.”

Most importantly, they really like each other — not a given in the cutthroat world of L.A. luxury brokerages, with its big deals and big personalities, according to the magazine.

“We’ve traveled the world together for business, and through that experience, we discovered that we bring complementary elements to the table,” Fridman said. “Our strengths overlap in ways that really enhance our collaboration.”

Forster Jones agreed.

“We laugh a lot,” she said. “Each of us brings our own unique personalities and perspectives to the table.
