Elliman broker Tracy Tutor comes forward with Oren Alexander claim

Top Douglas Elliman broker Tracy Tutor was among the seven women who shared accounts outlining new allegations against Tal and Oren Alexander as the brothers ace mounting claims of rape and sexual assault.

Tutor, who is based out of the brokerage’s Beverly Hills office, told the New York Times she recalls sharing a drink with Oren Alexander at a cocktail party in 2014 before she “blacked out.”

A fellow Elliman agent told the Times he found Tutor with Alexander in the restaurant bathroom and removed her. He later told a top Elliman executive about the incident, but never filed a formal complaint with the brokerage.

“Staying silent for so long has been damaging on many levels, and remembering now what happened feels debilitating,” Tutor told the Times.

Oren declined to comment to the Times through a lawyer.

The accounts add to allegations against top brokers Tal and Oren, along with their brother Alon Alexander, who works as an executive at a private security firm.

The Times report was one of two published weeks after rape and assault allegations first surfaced against the brothers. A similar slew of accounts reported by the Wall Street Journal show allegations of drugging, assaulting and raping women followed the brothers across several decades.

Some allegations reach as far back as the early aughts, when the Alexanders were attending high school in Miami. The claims also date to the decade they spent at Douglas Elliman, all while building their images as high-flying members of the South Florida and New York social scenes.

Allegations against the brothers came to light after The Real Deal reported on two lawsuits filed in New York against Alon and Oren. In the following weeks, a second complaint was filed accusing Tal and Alon of rape in an attack coordinated and witnessed by Oren.

Tal and Oren have both since stepped down from Official, the brokerage they co-founded in 2022.

Along with losing listings and new development deals in South Florida and New York, Official’s footprint in Los Angeles suffered a major blow after top broker Tyrone McKillen announced he is planning to leave the brokerage with his eight-person team.

McKillen was tapped last year as a founding agent to help the firm establish its West Coast presence.
