The Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors has signed off on more than $40 million in loans for affordable housing developments across the county. Overall, the county has approved nearly $43.8 million for affordable housing projects in the cities of Los Angeles, West Hollywood and Whittier, Urbanize Los Angeles reported. The $43.8 million provides a fraction of capital stacks that combine for $562 million. When finished, the developments would provide 687 affordable units for seniors, families and homeless individuals.
