The co-working company Centrl Office has inked a deal at Brunswig Square in Little Tokyo, adding to the recent flurry of co-working companies setting up shop in Los Angeles.
This will be Centrl Office’s third location and first one outside Portland, Oregon, according to the Los Angeles Business Journal, which first reported the story. The company signed a 10-year lease for the seventh and eighth floors at the building, located at 356 – 374 E. 2nd Street. The company will move into the 140,000-square-foot building in the fall, the Journal reported.
Nico Vilgiate and Ryan Hoopes of Colliers International represented Centrl. Chris Penrose of CBRE represented the landlord, Jamestown.
Amenities at the shared workspace include large and small meeting spaces, indoor bike racks, concierge, community events and Wifi.
The firm will join Cross Campus, Spaces, WeWork, CTRL Collective and Industrious, all of which have locations in Downtown.
Across Greater L.A., co-working firms occupy about 3 million square feet of space collectively. This year alone, they’re expected to fill roughly 364,000 square feet, with leases lasting about a decade each. [LABJ] — Natalie Hoberman
