But another home trounced it on a per-square-foot basis. A trust affiliated with Matt Cwiertnia, partner at Ares Management, acquired actress Betty White’s old house at 506 North Carmelina Avenue in an off-market deal for roughly $30.9 million on Feb. 11, or $10,203 per square foot.
