Hudson Pacific Properties advances with new office project in Hollywood

1001 N Seward St and Victor Coleman

Hudson Pacific Properties, the film and TV studio-space giant, is making headway on its plan to deliver 575,000 square feet of new development on the Sunset Las Palmas Studio campus.

The Los Angeles-based REIT published marketing materials for Harlowe, a 128,000-square-foot office building set to rise in the 15-acre campus on Las Palmas Avenue in Hollywood, Urbanize reported.

Renderings by Rios Clementi Hale Studios portray a modern four-story building with several outdoor green spaces and decks. There will also be shared workplace areas, on-site parking, bike storage, and showers.

It’s currently under construction, with an expected completion in 2020.

Chris DuMont, Tony Ranger, Brent Bissell and Joe King have the listing.

Hudson Pacific acquired the 369,000-square-foot campus, formerly known as Hollywood Center Studios, for $200 million in May 2017. It then set out to build 575,000 square feet of new development on the site, including the Harlowe and a 350-car parking garage.

Upon closing, Hudson Pacific became the largest independent studio owner in the country, with 1.2 million square feet of facilities at its three studios, according to the LA Times. It also owns the Sunset Bronson Studios and Sunset Gower Studios. [Urbanize] — Natalie Hoberman
