Kris Jenner’s fake home in Studio City sells for $5.3M after 11 years

Kris Jenner and her Studio City home.

The Studio City home seen by millions on early episodes of “Keeping Up With The Kardashians” has finally sold — after lingering on the market for 11 years.

The seven-bedroom, nine-bathroom home at 11947 Iredell Street sold for $5.25 million — less than half the $12 million that its owner first asked for the home in 2007, and about $1 million below its last listing price.

Nearly 20 agents from nine brokerages represented the home before Brandon Assanti of Rodeo Realty brokered a sale. Tomer Fridman of Compass had represented the property as recently as February.

The home is 7,800 square feet and includes a screening room, wine cellar and tasting room, an outdoor kitchen, and sits on just less than an acre of land. Its exterior was used as a stand-in for the exterior of Kris Jenner’s home on the “Keeping Up With The Kardashians” reality show, but its interiors were never shown.

Assanti has known the owner of the home, Danny Gerardi, for about five years and said he was first hired about a year and a half ago. He said the house sold now because it was listed at its real market value and because of a key interior restaging.

The owner’s large, dark and ornate furniture was distracting potential buyers, he said. He restaged it with minimal furnishing to take advantage of the large open interior spaces.

“When the first buyers walked in and the first thing they said was about the grounds and the house and not about the furniture, I knew I had done my job,” Assanti said. “I had more showings in the first month than there were in probably the previous five years.”

The home appeared in several other television shows, including “Chelsea Lately,” “True Blood,” and “American Horror Story.” Music videos and a Victoria’s Secret commercial were also shot there.

Gerardi told TRD in February that he brought in around $36,000 for each shoot day.
