UPDATED on January 10, 2018, at 4:59 p.m.: Showtime Networks is making CIM Group’s The Lot campus in Hollywood its new West Coast headquarters.

The entertainment company’s new headquarters at Formosa West, the second of three buildings on the studio campus, spans 50,000 square feet, the majority of which Showtime leased there about a year ago.

Showtime, a subsidiary of CBS Corporation, will exit its former West Coast headquarters on the 15th and 16th floors of the Oppenheimer Tower in Westwood, owned by Douglas Emmett.

The network will take up about half of the five-story, 108,000-square-foot building. The headquarters spans three of those floors and includes a screening room, “interactive meeting areas,” and a central café.

CIM Group completed Formosa West around the time Showtime signed its lease in early 2018. A year later, CIM Group is putting up the third and final piece of the puzzle — the 98,000-square-foot Courtyard Building. The company looks to wrap construction by the end of the year.

Other tenants at the lot include Oprah Winfrey’s OWN Network and Will Ferrell’s Funny or Die production. The complex is built for media productions and includes seven sound stages, on-site film equipment rental services, and on-site catering services.

Mike DeSantis team at Cushman & Wakefield represented Showtime. Carl Muhlstein’s team at JLL represented CIM Group.

Showtime’s television shows include the latest season of David Lynch’s “Twin Peaks,” “Homeland,” and “The Affair.”
