Don Cheadle is taking another crack at selling his Marina del Rey house, two years after first listing the property.
Cheadle and his wife, designer and actress Bridgid Coulter, bought the property for just under $900,000 in 2014. The existing house was an 800-square-foot bungalow built in the 1950s, but Coulter renovated the house and the pair listed it in 2016 for $2.5 million. They chopped the price down to $2.38 million that year, according to Variety. Now, the couple is asking $2.45 million.
Inside, the three-bedroom, three-bath house features modern, wood-accented interiors and high ceilings. The exterior is geometric and modern with a concrete and corten steel facade. A turfed roofdeck and a small yard offer outdoor leisure space.
The Oscar-winning actor and wife likely haven’t lived in the house though. They’ve lived in Santa Monica Canyon since the mid-2000s in a custom build house on a property they also bought for $900,000 in 2000. [Variety] –Dennis Lynch
