Beverly Hills compound with Saudi royal pedigree lists for $110M

The former home of the late Prince Saud al-Faisal in Beverly Hills

A massive Beverly Hill estate most recently owned by a late Saudi prince and diplomat has hit the market. The asking price: $110 million.

The labyrinthine main house with a courtyard entrance sits along a ridge at the top of a winding private driveway, according to the Wall Street Journal, which reported on the listing. The 14-acre estate also has guest and staff residences. Altogether, it encompasses 35,000 square feet of interior space.

It includes a swimming pool and tennis court; Prince Saud al-Faisal was a tennis buff.

The current owner is an LLC tied to the late prince and his widow, Princess Johara bint Faisal. The prince served as Saudi Arabia’s foreign minister from 1975 until his death in 2015, making him the second-longest serving foreign minister in history.

The estate neighbors billionaire financier Jeff Greene’s Palazzo Di Amore compound, the Journal noted, which hit the market for $195 million in 2014. Greene has had trouble finding a buyer and has cut the price to $129 million. [WSJ] — Dennis Lynch
